A private sunset cruise in Phuket costs from ฿39,000 to ฿79,000 in the 2026/27 season on the six boats whose pages publish a separate sunset price: three hours from ฿39,000 on the Satisfaction 55 sailing catamaran for up to 40 guests, and four hours from 15:00 to 19:00 at ฿59,000 to ฿79,000 on three boats for six to ten guests. In the Christmas and New Year peak the three boats that sell it charge ฿50,000 to ฿69,000. Every price is for the whole boat with its crew, not per person, taken from each boat’s page on 4 October 2026.

Satisfaction 55 and 53ft Grand Banks Sambuca price three seasons; Mami Wata charges the same ฿41,000 in its low and high seasons and ฿52,000 only from 22 December to 5 January. Axopar 37 LILA, Fountaine Pajot 40 SUAY and Princess V39 ANFIELD publish two seasons and no separate peak price. The median of the six lowest prices is ฿50,000. What are the inclusions on a sunset cruise?

The three small boats from Royal Phuket Marina and Boat Lagoon Marina carry the fullest sunset package: a meat and cheese platter for four, a bottle of sparkling wine, fruit, soft drinks and beer, plus a return transfer from the hotel, villa or airport. Lunch is not served, and a second platter costs ฿2,500 for four. Mami Wata states that its gourmet lunch is for day charters and not for the sunset cruise. 53ft Grand Banks Sambuca lists lunch on day tours and leaves it out on five-hour half days; its page does not say whether the sunset tour has a meal, so ask. Satisfaction 55 lists soft drinks, snacks and fruit, and charges for lunch or dinner from ฿400 per person.

Which yachts run sunset cruises without a published price?

The pages of the three yachts under the management of Horizon Cruises Phuket say each also runs sunset cruises, and the company’s sunset page lists them with the same guest limits and piers. From Chalong the evening follows the southern coast; from Ao Po it heads into the calm water of Phang Nga Bay. None of the three pages prints a sunset price: the company quotes it per boat and per date. The table therefore shows the shortest published charter, a four-hour half day, which is not the sunset price. Half days include no lunch on all three and no transfer on Say Yes and Sofia. Sofia and Beluga 88 run half days from 09:00 to 13:00 or from 14:00 to 18:00.

Two more boat pages mention the sunset without a sunset price. Prada 50, a 50 ft power catamaran at Ao Po Grand Marina, gives charter times between 09:00 and 18:30 for sunset but lists no sunset trip or price; its shortest trip is five hours to Koh Yao and Naka Noi at ฿45,000 from May to October. Which afternoon boat tours are out at sunset?

Eight more boats, all from Chalong Pier, sell an afternoon half-day boat tour that ends at 19:00, later than sunset on every day of 2026. Two pages call it a half day with sunset: Lagoon 450 St Anna and Leopard 51 Aurora, both from 14:00 to 19:00 to Coral Island, about 8 km from Chalong, and neither is sold in the peak. The other six pages give only the hours, 14:00 or 14:30 to 19:00, and do not mention the sunset, so confirm where the boat will be at that hour.

St Anna also builds the sunset into longer days: nine hours with the sunset at Promthep Cape for ฿45,900 from June to October, and a long day from 09:00 to 19:00 to Phi Phi and Maiton or to Racha Noi and Racha Yai for ฿52,900 in the same months, coming back with the sunset. Pisces 85, an 85 ft power catamaran for up to 85 guests at Ao Po Grand Marina, runs its classic day from 11:00 to 19:00 with a sunset cruise back to the marina.

All prices in this table are from the lowest season of each boat, the same column for all three formats. The sunset is the lowest price on all six rate tables, tied with the half day on three of them, but it is not the cheapest time on the water. Per hour, the three-hour and four-hour sunsets cost ฿13,000 to ฿17,250, against ฿6,875 to ฿11,250 for an eight-hour day on the same boats. Mami Wata’s sunset is ฿27,000 below its five-hour trip, Satisfaction 55’s ฿10,000 and 53ft Grand Banks Sambuca’s ฿5,000. 20 guests on 53ft Grand Banks Sambuca, November to April: ฿60,000

The three-hour sunset tour costs ฿45,000 in high season for 1 to 10 guests; ten more at ฿1,500 each add ฿15,000, which is ฿3,000 a guest. From May to October the same evening is ฿55,000 for 20, and from 20 December to 20 January ฿65,000. Twenty is the boat’s daytime maximum, and each extra hour costs ฿5,000.

Six guests on Axopar 37 LILA, November to April: ฿71,500

The four-hour sunset charter to Koh Yao Yai costs ฿69,000 from November to April and covers all six guests, with a return hotel transfer. The package carries a meat and cheese platter for four; a second one for the other two guests is ฿2,500, which makes ฿71,500, or ฿11,917 a guest. From May to October the same evening is ฿59,000, or ฿61,500 with the second platter.

20 guests on Lagoon 450 St Anna, half day with sunset: ฿38,400

The five-hour afternoon from 14:00 to 19:00 to Coral Island costs ฿25,900 from June to October for 10 guests; ten more at ฿1,250 each add ฿12,500, which is ฿1,920 a guest. From November to May the base is ฿29,900, or ฿42,400 for 20, and the half day does not run from 20 December to 15 January. Lunch, the transfer to Chalong Pier and the island entry fee at Coral Island are paid separately.

No sunset price is published for Say Yes; the company quotes it on request. The nearest published figure is the four-hour half day to Coral Island with Promthep Cape, or to Maiton: ฿100,000 from November to April for 12 guests, and eight more at ฿2,000 each add ฿16,000, which is ฿5,800 a guest. Times are for 2026, local time, from meteogram.org. The earliest sunset of the year is 18:03, from 12 to 16 November, and the latest 18:48, in July: 45 minutes apart. The four-hour charters run from 15:00 to 19:00, so the sun goes down in their last hour in any month. On the three-hour charters the start time decides it, so agree it when booking. Five of the six boat pages with a sunset price give charter hours between 09:00 and 19:00; Mami Wata gives day-charter hours of 09:00 to 17:00 or 10:00 to 18:00 and no separate time for the sunset cruise.

November to April is the dry season on the Andaman Sea coast. The Thai Meteorological Department record behind the season guide gives February 27 mm of rain on 4 rainy days against 399 mm on 23 days in September, and about three quarters of the year’s rain falls from May to October. The sunset page of Horizon Cruises Phuket calls November to April the settled season, with a clear horizon, and says May to October brings cloud and the occasional evening shower, with the most dramatic skies when the cloud breaks. All six boats with a sunset price leave from the east coast, and the routes guide counts the sheltered water of Phang Nga Bay and Koh Yao as workable in every month.

Low season is the cheaper one. Satisfaction 55 is ฿39,000 from May to October against ฿49,000 from November to April, the three small boats from Royal Phuket Marina and Boat Lagoon Marina are ฿10,000 lower, and 53ft Grand Banks Sambuca ฿5,000 lower; Mami Wata charges ฿41,000 in both.
