Private jet charter to Phuket runs through Phuket International Airport (HKT), arranged either by a Thai operator that holds the aircraft’s Air Operator Certificate or by a broker that books a flight on another company’s jet. Published hourly rates on the sites reviewed here range from roughly 3,500 US dollars for a light aircraft to well over 15,000 US dollars for an ultra-long-range jet, and named fleets run from four-seat light jets to Gulfstream-class aircraft.

The private jet terminal at Phuket airport

Siam Land Flying’s own homepage names three service lines operating together: Executive Wings for private jet charter, Medical Wings for air ambulance, and Siam Land itself described as a private jet terminal. This is the only site reviewed here that names a dedicated private jet terminal brand at Phuket. MJets, by contrast, operates its own facility, the MJets Private Jet Terminal, at Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok, and arranges onward flights from there rather than basing its terminal in Phuket.

Thai operators vs international brokers

Some companies own or manage the aircraft that flies the route. VIP Jets states that it began operations in 2008 with a Cessna Citation Mustang based at Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport, and that it operates under Thai Air Operator Certificate number AOC.0016 Rev.1, valid until 30 March 2028; its charter enquiry form lists Phuket as a departure point, and a photo on its aircraft page is captioned as the Mustang in Phuket. MJets runs its own Private Jet Terminal at Don Mueang and lists aircraft maintenance, aircraft management and FBO ground handling among its own services rather than only reselling flights. Advance Aviation operates two Gulfstream G200 jets and one Gulfstream G650ER under co-management from a Bangkok base, in addition to the helicopter it bases near Phuket International Airport.

Other companies are brokers that do not own the aircraft. ASA Air Charter describes itself as an independent broker for private jet charter into Phuket International Airport, arranging flights from Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong and managing Thai CAAT permits, FBO and ground handling and onward transfers to Koh Samui, Krabi and the Andaman islands; it states it has arranged charters in Thailand since 1999. Air Charter Service operates a Bangkok office as part of a larger international network; its own pages state the group arranges over 35,000 flights a year through 40-plus offices with access to some 50,000 aircraft worldwide. Flapper is an international charter marketplace that lists individual aircraft, including examples based in the region, without a dedicated Phuket page in the pages reviewed.

Aircraft types named on the sites

Advance Aviation’s Gulfstream G200 has a stated range of up to 3,400 nautical miles, a cabin length of 24 feet 5 inches and a luggage compartment sized for about 15 standard suitcases, according to its fleet page.

Published price examples

ASA Air Charter publishes a category table on its own site giving an hourly rate range in US dollars for each aircraft class: a very light jet (2 to 4 passengers) at 3,500 to 4,500 dollars an hour, a light jet (4 to 7 passengers) at 4,500 to 6,500, a midsize jet (6 to 9 passengers) at 6,500 to 9,500, a super-midsize jet (8 to 10 passengers) at 8,500 to 12,000, a heavy jet (8 to 14 passengers) at 11,800 to 18,000, and an ultra-long-range jet (10 to 19 passengers) at 15,000 to 25,000 or more.

Flapper’s own site gives a separate set of 2026 estimates: single-engine helicopters average about 2,000 dollars an hour and twin-engine helicopters about 4,500, turboprops start around 2,800, light jets average about 4,500, midsize jets about 6,000, heavy jets about 8,000, and ultra-long-range jets can exceed 12,000 dollars an hour. Both figures are general category estimates published by brokers, not a fixed price for a specific Phuket route, and each site states that the final cost depends on the aircraft, route and dates chosen.

What a charter quote usually includes and excludes

Air Charter Service’s own pricing page states that its estimated costs do not include tax or VAT, and that it accepts British pounds, euros and US dollars, plus credit cards, debit cards and cheques, but not cryptocurrency. ASA Air Charter’s Phuket page states that its service includes management of Thai CAAT permits, FBO and ground handling, and coordination of onward transfers to nearby islands, positioning these as part of what a broker arranges around the flight itself rather than optional extras.

Air ambulance and medevac services

Several sites reviewed here list emergency medical flights alongside standard charter. Siam Land Flying’s Medical Wings brand is dedicated to air ambulance service. VIP Jets lists MedEvac and Air Ambulance Services as one of its two main service lines, alongside private and corporate jet charter. MJets lists Air Ambulance among its services. ASA Air Charter offers a Medevac Private Air Charter service described as rapid medical air charter for emergencies.

Checking an operator and questions before a deposit

In Thailand, commercial air operators hold an Air Operator Certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand, and a broker arranges flights on operators’ aircraft rather than holding a certificate of its own. Before paying a deposit, ask for the operating company’s name and AOC number, confirm whether the company selling the flight owns the aircraft or is booking it through a broker, get the exact aircraft type, year and seating configuration, and ask what the quoted figure includes and excludes, since published broker terms typically state that estimated prices exclude tax or VAT and are subject to confirmation once an aircraft is secured.
