A private speedboat in Phuket costs from ฿21,000 for a four-hour half day and from ฿33,900 for a seven-hour day in the 2026/27 season; the highest full day is ฿120,000 on Sacs Strider 15 in low season, ฿160,000 in the peak. The table lists nine speedboats of 28 to 39 ft for 4 to 12 guests, with hours, piers and peak prices from each boat’s page on 4 October 2026. Every price is for the whole boat with crew, not per person; the Phi Phi park fee, ฿400 per foreign adult, is paid on top unless the boat includes it.

All nine are listed by Horizon Cruises Phuket, the company ranked first of 23 in the Phuket Rating yacht charter ranking with 92.4 of 100 under the published methodology. The company offers speedboat days as private charters of the whole boat with captain and crew, for 4 to 12 guests, as half days and full days from Chalong Pier, Boat Lagoon Marina and Royal Phuket Marina; its speedboat page says the manager confirms the exact programme when Phi Phi is booked, and Nimbus T11 takes up to 4 guests overnight. The three yachts under the company’s management, Technema 89 Say Yes, Ferretti 80 Sofia and Beluga 88, are motor yachts, not speedboats; the nine speedboats are partner boats in its catalogue. How much does a private speedboat cost in Phuket?

The price columns show the lowest listed price with the hours and season of that row. AQVA 37 and Al Dhaen 38 Vice sell seven-hour days and no half day. On the five Boat Lagoon Marina boats that split the year, the lowest price is the May–October low season; November to April costs more (season table below). † A day charter whose hours the page does not state. Limpopo Axopar 28 adds a fuel surcharge of ฿10,000 to ฿22,000 to every full-day route. What is included in a speedboat price?

Crew is in every price; the rest is set boat by boat:

Four boats list the national park fee as included: Monterey M65, Jeanneau Cap Camarat 10.5 and both Sacs Striders. Their pages name no route, so confirm that a Phi Phi day is covered. On the other five the fee is paid in cash on top: at Phi Phi ฿400 per foreign adult and ฿200 per child aged 3 to 14. AQVA 37 and Al Dhaen 38 Vice list food, transfer and park fees as extras, so compare the same programme with the same extras, not the headline rate. Where do speedboats go, and what does each route cost?

The company’s speedboat page contrasts a motor yacht at twelve knots with speedboats at 25 to 28 knots and says the result is three or four islands in a day instead of two, at the price of no saloon, limited shade and a hard ride in chop. Routes follow the pier.

Prices are for the lowest-priced season of each card. Hours: seven on AQVA 37 and Al Dhaen 38 Vice (eight to Hong Island), eight on the Boat Lagoon boats, not stated on Nimbus T11. ”+ fuel” is a surcharge the card adds to the full-day rate. The four Boat Lagoon boats with a ฿10,000 surcharge name Phang Nga Bay with Naka, Maiton with Naka, Khai with Naka and Naka alone as standard destinations; Koh Hong, Krabi and Phi Phi are the surcharge routes. Nimbus T11 is the only speedboat that lists Koh Haa, ฿136,000, and Koh Kradan with Koh Mook, ฿146,000.

Nearer islands are priced in Racha Yai and Coral Island by private boat and Khai and Maiton by private boat, and the bay in Phang Nga Bay and James Bond Island by private yacht.

How much is a private speedboat to Phi Phi?

All nine list a Phi Phi day, priced in three ways: AQVA 37 and Al Dhaen 38 Vice as a seven-hour day with Maiton, Nimbus T11 as a day charter with fuel included, and the Boat Lagoon boats as the full-day rate plus a fuel surcharge, shown here as a sum.

Totals run from ฿37,900 to ฿130,000 in the lowest season and from ฿42,900 to ฿170,000 in the peak. Axopar 37 LILA includes fuel for 4 engine hours on a full day and charges ฿5,000 for each extra one, so ask how many hours the Phi Phi route uses.

From Chalong Pier, Tonsai Bay and Maya Bay are about 47 km (25.5 nautical miles) east: about 50 minutes at 30 knots and about an hour at 25 knots one way, before stops. The boats at the two east-coast marinas cruise at 20 to 28 knots where the card states it; no crossing time from those marinas is estimated here.

The park fee is ฿400 per foreign adult and ฿200 per child aged 3 to 14, under 3 free; the date-stamped ticket covers Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon and Bamboo Island on the same day. Maya Bay closes every year from 1 August to 30 September. Phi Phi for every boat type is in private yacht from Phuket to Phi Phi.

What does a private speedboat day actually add up to?

4 guests, half day on Limpopo Axopar 28: ฿21,000, ฿5,250 each

The four-hour half day to Rang Yai or Khai costs ฿21,000 all year for up to 4 guests, with no fuel surcharge on that route: ฿5,250 each. The card says no lunch or alcohol, with snacks and fresh fruit included; park or island fees, where they apply, are extra. A full day on the cheapest route, Phang Nga Bay, is ฿39,500 plus ฿10,000 fuel, ฿49,500, or ฿12,375 each.

8 guests to Phi Phi on AQVA 37: ฿39,900 before park fees

Seven hours to Phi Phi and Maiton cost ฿37,900 in the standard season for up to 6 guests; two more at ฿1,000 each add ฿2,000, making ฿39,900, about ฿4,988 a head. The park fee for 8 foreign adults, ฿400 each, is ฿3,200, which makes ฿43,100. In the peak the base is ฿42,900 and the party pays ฿44,900 before fees. Al Dhaen 38 Vice sells the day at ฿41,900 for 6; 8 guests cost ฿43,900.

10 guests to Phi Phi from Chalong: ฿41,900 by speedboat, ฿84,900 by power catamaran

AQVA 37 is ฿37,900 for 6 guests; four more at ฿1,000 add ฿4,000, making ฿41,900, or ฿4,190 each. Indigo 53 Super Mario, a power catamaran at the same pier, lists Phi Phi among the routes of its eight-hour day at ฿84,900 all year for 1 to 15 guests: ฿8,490 each for 10. The difference is ฿43,000, or ฿4,300 per guest. The catamaran price includes a buffet lunch and fuel for the listed routes, and AQVA 37 lists food as an extra. The speedboat crosses in about an hour; the catamaran, at 16 knots, in 1 h 25 to 1 h 40.

12 guests, full day on Sacs Strider 15: ฿132,000

The standard rate covers 8 guests: ฿120,000 for eight hours in low season. Four more at ฿3,000 each add ฿12,000: ฿132,000, or ฿11,000 each. High season is ฿135,000 plus ฿12,000, ฿147,000; the peak ฿160,000 plus ฿12,000, ฿172,000; Phi Phi adds the ฿10,000 fuel surcharge, ฿142,000 in low season. The price includes lunch, beer, four hours of fuel, a hotel transfer and the park fee. The other 12-guest speedboat, AQVA 37, is ฿39,900 for a near-island day (฿33,900 for 6 plus 6 at ฿1,000), ฿3,325 each, or ฿43,900 with Phi Phi and Maiton, ฿3,658 each; food, transfer and park fees are extra.

Speedboat, long-tail or catamaran: which is faster, and what does each cost?

Kiri Long-tail 40 and AQVA 37 both start at ฿33,900 for seven hours; the long-tail has 4 guests in the price and takes 8, AQVA 37 has 6 and takes 12. Not every power catamaran is slow: Gin 37, for 6 guests from CoCo Pier, cruises at 24 knots and lists a Phi Phi and Maiton day at ฿51,900. Above 12 guests a speedboat is not an option. The 4-Engine Speed Catamaran, a 62 ft power catamaran from CoCo Pier with four outboard engines, lists up to 65 guests: near islands ฿60,900 for up to 45 guests and ฿75,900 for 46 to 65; Phi Phi, Racha Noi or Phang Nga Bay ฿64,900 and ฿84,900; four stops (Khai, Bamboo Island, Phi Phi, Maiton) ฿69,900 and ฿90,900. How many people fit on a private speedboat?

Between 4 and 12 by day. The price often covers fewer guests than the boat carries:

• AQVA 37: 6 in the price, ฿1,000 per extra guest, up to 12. Al Dhaen 38 Vice: 6, ฿1,000, up to 8.
• Sacs Strider 11: 6 in the price, ฿3,000 per extra guest, up to 8. Sacs Strider 15: 8, ฿3,000, up to 12.
• Jeanneau Cap Camarat 10.5: 6 in the price, ฿2,000 per extra guest, up to 8.
• Axopar 37 LILA: all 6 guests are in the rate. Monterey M65 takes 6 and Limpopo Axopar 28 takes 4.
• Nimbus T11: 10 by day and 4 overnight; the card gives no extra-guest rate.

Which pier do speedboats leave from?

Six of the nine leave from Boat Lagoon Marina at Koh Kaew on the east coast, two from Chalong Pier on the south-east coast and one, Nimbus T11, from Royal Phuket Marina, also at Koh Kaew. The company’s speedboat page says the sheltered water is close from the east coast (Phang Nga Bay, Khai and Naka, Koh Hong, the Koh Yao islands) and that the Chalong boats are closer to Coral Island, the Racha islands and Phi Phi. AQVA 37 and Al Dhaen 38 Vice offer a beach pick-up on request, subject to tide and weather, with a transfer boat charged separately. How much more does a speedboat cost in high season and over Christmas?

The lowest prices above are the May–October low season on the Boat Lagoon boats and the standard season on the Chalong boats:

High season, November to April, adds ฿10,000 to ฿15,000 to the full day on the five boats that list it. The peak adds ฿20,000 to ฿40,000 on the four Boat Lagoon boats with a peak price, ฿10,000 on Nimbus T11, ฿8,000 on Al Dhaen 38 Vice and ฿5,000 on AQVA 37. The window is 15 December to 31 January on AQVA 37 and Al Dhaen 38 Vice, 20 December to 20 January on Monterey M65 and 20 December to 10 January on the rest; on the first two, bookings in that window are non-refundable. Is a private speedboat rough in the rainy season?

It can be on open water. The south-west monsoon runs from May to October, and Phuket Airport records about three quarters of the year’s rain in those months. Phang Nga Bay on the east side is sheltered by the mainland and the Koh Yao islands and works on most days; six of the nine speedboats start from the east coast. Phi Phi and Racha are decided against the Thai Meteorological Department forecast close to the date: in September 2026 the TMD warned of 2 to 3 metre waves across the Andaman Sea and told small boats to stay ashore. The company’s speedboat page adds that a light hull at speed rides hard in chop.

Weather terms differ by card. AQVA 37 and Al Dhaen 38 Vice go ahead in general rain without a refund and refund in full only if the TMD bans all boat operations. The Boat Lagoon boats offer a replacement vessel, a new date or a refund less costs incurred if conditions make the charter unsafe. Nimbus T11 agrees the plan individually.

Can you stay overnight on a private speedboat?

Only on Nimbus T11, a 39 ft speedboat with two cabins for 4 guests; its page calls the format comfortable for a couple with children or two adults, not for four unrelated adults. Fuel, skipper, deckhand, hostess and full board are included, and overnight charters board at 10:00 and disembark at 17:00. Two days and one night cost ฿272,000 all year outside the peak and ฿293,000 from 20 December to 10 January; three days and two nights ฿398,000 and ฿430,000; four days and three nights ฿524,000 and ฿566,000; five days and four nights ฿645,000 and ฿703,000. Is a speedboat a good choice with children?

For a short trip in calm conditions, yes; for a full day it usually is not, according to the company’s speedboat page, which calls a catamaran markedly more comfortable than a speedboat at speed. AQVA 37, Al Dhaen 38 Vice and Kiri Long-tail 40 supply life jackets for guests aged 4 and up and do not recommend the trip for infants.
